This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how BubblyPop (“the App”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) collects, uses, processes, and protects the personal information of users. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of your personal information. By using our App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to our mobile application, BubblyPop, and any associated services we provide. It covers our current operations—which are primarily offline—as well as planned future updates. This document ensures full compliance with global privacy standards, including Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines and GDPR transparency requirements.

2. Data Collection & Processing Highlights

2.1. Current Operations (Local Device Storage)

In our current version, we prioritize user privacy by processing most data locally. We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address.

• Game Progress: Data such as your chosen username, levels reached, word lists learned, and high scores are stored exclusively on your local device storage. We do not have access to this information on our servers.

2.2. Third-Party Services & Advertising (Active)

To support BubblyPop as a free-to-play application, we integrate third-party advertising services (e.g., Google AdMob).

• App Tracking Transparency (ATT): We will request your permission to track via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing any advertising identifiers such as IDFA. Users may decline this permission at any time via device settings.
• Technical Identifiers: Advertising networks may process anonymous technical identifiers to measure ad performance. This data is not linked to your personal identity.

2.3. Future Planned Features (Currently Inactive)

Please Note: The following features are not currently active in the App. This Policy will be updated before any such features are introduced:

• Authentication: We plan to introduce optional membership through third-party authentication (e.g., Apple or Google). If introduced, we will collect your email address to sync progress.
• In-App Purchases (IAP): All financial transactions will be handled through the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your credit card details.

3. Push Notifications

Push notifications are only sent after obtaining your explicit consent (opt-in). We may use notifications to alert you of updates or new content. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or the in-app profile menu.

4. Data Retention and Security

We use industry-standard encryption technologies to protect any data processed by the App. Since current data is local to your device, its security depends on your hardware settings. For any future server-side data, we will implement secure storage protocols to prevent unauthorized access.

5. Children’s Privacy (+4 Age Category)

BubblyPop is designed for a general audience and is classified in the +4 age category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We manage ad content ratings to ensure advertisements are appropriate for all ages. Through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT), users have full control over whether they receive personalized ads. If tracking is declined, ad networks will only serve non-personalized advertisements.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

• Self-Service Deletion: You can delete all local data by using the "Reset Game Data" function in the App or by uninstalling the App.
• Future Account Deletion: Upon the implementation of an account system, a "Delete Account" button will be provided within the App to permanently wipe your data from our servers.
